Atlanta singer Neila has just released the visuals for her latest record ‘Can’t Stand Your Friends'(CSYF).

For Neila the message is personal, and comes from having made it through some tough experiences very early in life.  “I realized from a very young age that some people manipulate others for their benefit regardless of how it effects anyone – they move for themselves” Neila says.

This ethos comes full circle for Neila on ‘CSYF’ just at a higher, more intense level. The inspiration for ‘CSYF’ came from Neila dating someone with a particularly shady circle of friends. Neila reflects on this during ‘CSYF’ when she says “why can’t you just see they want what we got? Telling lies on me, they wanna be in your spot”. Ultimately, Neila was pushed out, and the relationship eventually ended.
